  • Position Overview

    FLEXcon Company, Inc., the leading global manufacturer of coated and laminated films and adhesives, is seeking a HRBP Manager to lead the HR Department and assist the entire organization as it implements new lean operational processes and a HRBP/COE Model. This role reports to the Vice President of HR and Corporate Communications and is based at FLEXcon’s headquarters in Spencer, MA.

    As a member of the HR Leadership team the HRBP Manager will be responsible for transitioning the HR department to the HRBP/COE model while effectively assisting the business as it goes through significant changes in the way day-to-day business is conducted. The HRBP Manager will also implement new company initiatives, priorities and culture, including lean processes and change management.


    • Identify and prioritize the process, policies and procedures that need to be streamlined, standardized, automated or reallocated
    • Translate current and future business initiatives into actionable HR activities
    • Monitor the effects of new business initiatives and develop plans to improve, sustain and reinforce company goals
    • Set annual goals for the team that align with their specific business and functional areas and the overall company direction
    • Set, implement and monitor the development goals for each HRBP and providing day-to-day direction and guidance
    • Create and maintain a strong team that delivers programs and processes to support the success of the organization

    • Partner with management and the assigned HRBP on special projects or significant HR related issues




        • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
        • 12 to 15 years of progressive HR experience, including direct support of business teams within the HRBP concept and 3 to 5 years of leadership experience
        • Excellent project management skills
        • Highly effective communication skills, both written and oral
        • The ability to make quick but thorough assessments of peoples’ capabilities and limitations and act accordingly to enhance development
        • Excellent problem assessment and problem solving skills
        • Effective relationship-building skills
        • Extensive knowledge of rules & regulations applicable to state and federal laws including, but not limited to, FLSA, FMLA, ADA & EEOC regulations

        • The ability to maintain confidentiality of employee and HR operations information

        • Legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship
