  • Position Overview

    FLEXcon in Spencer, MA is seeking a Treasury Analyst that will  handle international cash management and treasury operations and include management of the daily cash process, payments and funding, bank account administration and compliance.

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Cash Management/Treasury

    • Manage banking systems, features and related applications
    • Maintain on-line banking User rights and entitlements
    • Process ACH and check payments. Send files to bank and act on exceptions. Review and initiate wire and internal transfers.
    • Download daily bank transaction reports and maintain daily cash balance schedules. Reconcile and analyze operating accounts to insure liquidity
    • Download monthly bank statements. Prepare bank reconciliations and research errors
    • Maintain outstanding check list and follow up on stale dated checks
    • Serve as primary daily contact with bank representatives.
    • Responsible for opening accounts, closing accounts, list of authorized signers and account related documentation as necessary

    Investment Accounting

    • Maintain records and prepare monthly adjusting journals from brokerage statements.
    • Maximize Investment opportunities for excess cash. Manage the daily cash activity and coordinate on short term liquidity decisions

    General Ledger

    • Reconcile monthly intercompany balances between related companies.
    • Calculate monthly Loan/Interest Receivable schedules between related companies
    • Review weekly payroll journals for accuracy, make corrections – post to General Ledger. Process court garnishment checks and prepaid payroll checks. Forward payment for monthly Insurance premiums and FSA replenishment account
    • Ex-pats monthly payroll.
    • Annual DISC payments
    • Review and post consolidated entries between Holding and Parent companies. Maintain ledgers for Parent company.
    • Maintain summary cash projections to alert of any immediate and large future cash needs.
    • Update daily cash receipts schedules between Accounts Receivable and Treasury. Reconcile month end cash receipts between Accounts Receivable and Treasury, Post the AR import into Finance software.
    • Calculate quarterly bank covenants
    • Assist with various ad-hoc projects as assigned.

    Requirements

    EDUCATION: Financially oriented undergraduate degree required; MBA a plus

    EXPERIENCE: 2-4 years relevant financial experience with undergraduate degree; 1-3 years relevant experience with MBA

    TRAVEL: Less than 5%
